If you look at our midfield, the standout performer is Carrick. Excellent passes, reads the game well always looking for the man in a good position. I've always admired Carrick and I'm delighted this season he has been highlighted as a much needed player in our team. Kagawa has showed glimpses but I'm convinced his future is out wide- he has hardly set the league alight down the middle. Cleverley is one to keep an eye on, next season he must start to show his worth otherwise he could end up being similar to Gibson. Scholes is gone, not getting games and I can't see him here next season. Giggs can't perform week in week out because of his age but still produces great displays. Jones isn't really one for going forward, will be an excellent CB. Anderson needs to go, 6 seasons and he really hasn't done a lot. We've really missed Fletch, but it's unlikely he'll play again. When you look at this, what does Fellaini add that is so outstanding? He isn't the type of world class player we need at the moment. The display against Chelsea shows how weak our midfield is without Carrick.
