Yeah, they're probably all of a similar size but some stick out a lot more. What I meant was how much it sticks out, not necessarily its size.

Can't stand the really huge ones. They're actually painful to look at. :/ (No offense to anyone who has a big one.)

I would be highly dubious of any woman who says theirs is large....it is barely visible on women.

You can see mine but it's not sticking out as much as some.

But yeah, one's that stick out really bad do make me cringe, I can't touch my own without wincing. Lol.

But yeah, that's pretty much how I'd describe mine. Noticeable but it isn't, if you get what I mean?

I think it depends on a lot of things, like posture, people that hold their head lower have less pronounced ones, and of course underweight people, very skinny, it looks like an elbow sticking out of their neck. It seems more pronounced on people with very pale skin as well. Taller people it's more noticeable than short people.

Unless it's a very skinny tall white person I never really notice them.

Everyone has a larynx LOL (it's what enables people to speak) and they grow during puberty but it's a lot more dramatic in boys, needless to say..when it sticks out your throat to some extent is when it's called an Adam's apple. I suppose some girls have them but most don't.

Omg this thread's made me feel weird and now I'm hyper aware of the fact I have an Adam's apple even though it's so small you barely notice it and I even forget I have one most of the time. I have a thing about my neck, like 08marsh I hate things like high necked jumpers etc. Blaaaaahhhh. Only thing I can compare it to is when you (for guys) read a story about someone hurting their testicles or something horrific happening to someone down there and you get that sort of horrible feeling down there
