Also if you have an older child kicking the back of your chair and continually grabbing the back of your chair and your hair but I don't know what could be done as children will be children. I have only taken my son once on a plane and he was 10 months old. I was really bothered before we went that he would be a nightmare but luckily he slept through most of the flight except when another screaming child woke him up. It's just as stressful for the parents as it is for other passengers more so in some cases as you know everyone is looking and judging you.

Now that I don't agree with at all, if children are of the age where they can do this parents really should be in control. We never allowed our kids to put their feet on the seat in front, they always took their shoes off and sat with their feet on their own seat if they needed a change of position, and they were never close enough to the person in front or behind to grab their hair. I hate it when parents let their toddlers lean over the seats into the seat in front or behind, so unnecessary. Babies tend to cry if awake on take off and landing and sleep in between.
