I am totally puzzled at the hate for Dan, still if you think it's fair, it's your choice and your opinions but for me,I have no understanding as to what you say you are seeing.
Really sorry but I am genuinely really surprised at the vitriol against him.

Sheer prejudice. I think you know that. It is revealed in many posts about Dan eg, stereotypical bitchy gay; thick copper etc. I've seen it over and over again - in many cases more thinly veiled prejudices.
These people have deeply entrenched antipathies and nothing will change their minds. It's a shame, but Dan has plenty of fans too - and he's the bookies fav - so to hell with 'um!
