I think Dexter vt was genuine. It was a bit over the top, but that's basically Dexter. He's a bit of a womaniser.

Vanessa I really like you but you're very blinkered when it comes to Dexter! He's a great housemate but I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him! Genuine, definitely not! A womaniser, ha, highly unlikely but as I said a great housemate
