It does seem a bit odd, when you think the nominations have been acknowledged.

I turned off BOTS last night after 10 minutes (I'm struggling with the show this year) and wondered if they put the phone numbers up for all four.

I guess they didn't otherwise they couldn't take the votes if one of them is going to be saved.

They will have a bbbots audience tonight all likely primed up to say the twist is fantastic and the daft people dealing with twitter at the end of bbbots only selecting the ones that agree it is a good idea.
Phone calls also likely only selected if they are in favour of it too.
