I can see the quiz team rooms basically in a previous pub quiz people were searching the image dimensions and were able to find out answers without having a clue what they were at all; to combat that I resized all the images I was using and thought that would be enough to prevent that from happening but I didn't count on Google introducing a feature whereby you can find similar images by searching an image's URL on Google Images, thereby giving you the answer to the pub quiz. I don't think all of the answers are capable of being searched for but a great portion of them are, from what I can tell, which is really frustrating because I thought I'd covered all the bases and as far as I can see there's no way of getting around that Google function. I'm probably going to have to put everything into YouTube videos now or something. Sorry guys you can keep guessing at answers and I'll do results on Friday as a courtesy but I think I'll have to void this round and come up with another one instead... so gutted.

I did point out this was possible when I was running one of these

I tried to use stills from YouTube videos but even then some of those were visually similar to Google results.

Maybe if you put all of the 50 images on a YouTube video, and then add some effect like sepia or a wavey thing, so that we can't print screen them, that'd help

Yeah and I think they're the three that most teams seem to be struggling on at least one or two of in different combinations. And yeah Shaun I've done that for one of the upcoming rounds. I'll try doing that with the pictures and put them into a video for the next round. I'm not really sure how anyone can run future pub quizzes, Google's getting smarter by the day. :/
