Indeed. He took it WAY too far, but I doubt her saying she liked aggressive men helped matters at all. Neither did the alcohol. That said though, there is no excuse for his actions.

I think I agree with you on this one elliebrew.

I understand why Daley got ejected, putting his hand around Hazel's throat was out of order, but the pushing, the duvet-stealing, the arse-slapping, pulling down the shorts and Daley's aggressive tone/Hazel's flirtatious comebacks did seem like they were taking part in some sort of weird domination-flirting which would have probably lead into rough sex in the outside world between them.

That said that is the nicer way to look at it, wouldnt like to think Daley would actually 'nut her' :/ Alcohol probably made the perception blurry, but thats no excuse.

It was right Hazel got a formal warning also.

...so bizzare watching all that just happen!

fact is they were havin fun yeah sexual tension thing. but then he switched into psycho mode i dont think she even realized she wasnt sure if he was still playing about or not. no excuse for that he crossed the line and went way beyond it into nutcase land

all he had to do was enjoy, sex was on the table but for whatever reason he went of into loon land. that isnt normal by any stretch of the imagination.

I have to agree this was clearly role play and play fighting....Hazel wanted to see the aggressive side of him, said she could handle aggressive men....he played the role and it back fired on him.
It didnt help with Hazels comments in the diary room which sealed Daleys fate.

Anyway, her continuing to flirt appeared to wind him up even more..I don't think she realised they weren't on the same page until he had his hands on her throat tbh..probably as your danger radar disappears a bit when you have been drinking. I don't understand him at all..he had been desperate to get in Hazels pants for weeks..it was there on a plate and he snapped instead. I do think her 'disobeying' him earlier on played a bit role in it (though BB edited that bit out to tell a different story)

Yeah, I think you're right about all that. He used the word respect a whole lot as well, I think that was pretty telling
