In affect they are but when Gina nominated Dexter they had little to no connection so it was to be understood.

Since then they spent a week in the safe house together in which they seemingly bonded and became close so as a fan of both I'd like to see them not vote for each other.

At the end of the day though we have no say as they nominate who they want and asking as they give a valid reason that's fine.

Dexter did come off as quite snakey today though - I can't quite put my finger on what it was but even before the nominations I was starting to think that Callum is maybe my second favourite now.

I was totally shocked by this, I swear I thought he was going to nominate Jackie.

Dexter is such a great housemate, but at times he lets himself down, or maybe it's me he lets down

His friendship with Gina has been one of my highlights this series.

I can't work out if he's really playing the game or he just messes up without realising.

I'm not sure if it was to do with the thing Gina misheard Daley saying.
I thought he nominated her saying "she tried to turn other people against me" which would indicate that she had been bitching or telling lies about him to other people.

If it was the thing that was misheard would he not have said, "she's trying to turn me against my friend/other people"? (by telling him lies about other people - not vice versa surely?)

Anyways I don't think it was either reason.
He's desperate to save himself, imo he started to distance himself a bit from Gina as soon as they were out of the safehouse and tried to latch back in with Daley, Hazel, and co.
He even said that Gina "instigated everything" in the safehouse and so on.

I reckon he thought he had done enough talking with the group to possibly not be nominated for eviction this week, but he only nominated Gina as an extra precaution to ensure that he wouldn't have enough noms to be up.

His plan didn't work though, and despite him muttering "not surprised" when his name was called out, imo he did look very surprised.
His eyebrows shot up, and you could almost hear the cogs turning trying to work out who nominated him by the expression on his face.

I knew he would turn on Gina eventually But I didn't think it would this week. I hoped for but didn't expect him to have much loyalty. He's probably just out for himself, I don't believe him that he is really there to make friends or be liked. I also don't believe this Charlie fiasco.

I think Gina will sense him off with her in the coming days and will probably nominate him next week if she does.

He's a good housemate in the sense that he seems to bring a lot of debate to both the house and forums, but I am very unsure about whether he is a likeable person or not.

I don't believe the first thing was deliberate, I believe she misheard.
I think she just agreed with Charlie that Dexter was acting, I remember when she was telling Charlie that Dex was pretending to be jealous of Callum in the garden they were laughing before Dexter walked in. Dexter himself started laughing too because he knew that Gina was telling Charlie.

The whole thing was laughable. As Charlie said herself there is no spark there, no connection, Dexter is just completely cold and clinical when saying he has 'feelings' for her. There's nothing behind it, it just seems so fake. The psychologist one on Bots also agreed that there was no emotion there from his side. I would laugh too at someone acting so poorly.

She always said she liked Callum even in the safehouse. This is not something new.
