You are not living with these people. If it came down to it, I'm sure Sam is a lovely boy and if I were living there, I'd want him to stay.

But I'm not. I'm a viewer, and I want to be entertained. It will not be entertaining if Dan leaves, at all. Yes it might be mildly funny with Dexter, Gina and co - but then when it comes to the final week, and your favourite is robbed of the chance of winning because Sam is still there, then you'll look back and realise I'm right. Just like I am every other year when a situation like this happens.

You still don't get it do you Patrick. We are all individuals and see things in our own way! ...I have watched big brother from the very start and have seen the likes of Dan many times before! ...and to be honest, he isn't even a really good "Dan". [if you know what I mean ] ...he thinks that he is 'the manipulator-in-chief', bitching behind peoples back to the weaker willed hm's in order to eliminate the competition. But to someone of my age, he is as transparent as glass, old hat and very boring!
I am not saying that Sophie and Sam are very exciting at all...in fact I think that the title "Dullards" is pretty apt in their cases! [though I sense that there is a nasty streak waiting to emerge from Sophie] ...but all in all, imho Dan is just as boring as the other two...only a lot more smug with it, and his over-confidence that he is clever enough to pull the wool over the audiences eyes [and it appears to have worked on some of you..] is reason enough for me to rejoice in the knowledge that there's a good chance that this what is in my opinion is the 'smuggest dullard' [and the biggest snake in there] has a good chance of hitting the highway on friday! [although i'm not silly enough to think that it is a done deal]...
So all of this cantankerous hyperbole about Dan being 'an entertaining housemate' and far more deserving of a place in the house simply because it is your point of view is to me, so much unthoughtout nonsense!
But as always...you are entitled to your own opinion, and I respect that.
Please show me the same courtesy.
