No he hasn't really, but that's not the issue here, sam has a hard time interpreting and processing multiple conversations, and he hasn't made an error like this.
I find it really ignorant of dexter to be so blase and to fob sam off with ' I misheard you'.

It's a rude thing to say full stop, I would of clipped him round the lug hole if he said that to me. Kids these days lol
