The whole idea's designed to prove that - even if you wanted them gone - you'd just be as bad as them if you chose to save yourself

To me it would feel like a victimless crime really because all I did was push a button. I didn't see any of those people's faces and I didn't go up to them and murder them by hand. Of course that's all in theory, if this actually happened who knows how I would react? But I don't think I would feel that badly about it, especially when I'd be saving as many lives as I'd taken away.

all you did was push a button... that detonated a bomb it's not really that light a decision LOL

obviously the idea of responsibility for death is debatable because it's the terrorist who's planted the bombs, but I think that's what makes this so interesting, the extent of responsibility here.

I know but to me it would just be like "so I press this button and I get to continue living? Great! Where do I sign up?" I've no attachment to the other boat because I've not met any of the people on it so while the concept is overwhelming if you think about it; I think I would be very reactionary and just go ahead and do it.

Unless it actually happened and I turn out to be a pussy about it, idk
