Apparently Jim Davison has undergone an epiphany. On one of his stage shows he offended a black comedian, who followed him on the bill that night. As a result he wrote a stage play, and the black comedian played his antithesis. In this production he apologises for all his racist jokes. He's a changed man, apparently, sufficiently remorseful for his racism enough for the black comedian he offended to play the lead opposite him. He has done his best to rehabilitate his image, to the satisfaction of the black comedian he offended.

I'd love to see him in CBB, even if it is just a test of his credentials. When he started out he made fun of an invention of his, a black man called chalky. It make him a huge success in the 70's and early 80's. People lapped that up then. It's very un-PC now. But he was huge for his racist jokes then. That's as much his audiences' fault as his.
