Personally, I don't think Courteny looks like a princess either. I like her. And she has real charm. And yes, she is slim and has a pretty face, but she looks completely out of proportion. She was probably gorgeous before she went down the plastic surgery route. But now she looks bizarre.

Agree with ALL of that.

BUT Carol and Sophie were really harsh on her after only one night...Carol talking about Courtney's marriage age gap was a joke coming from her.

It was all bitchy and not deserved.

People are going to talk about her age gap because it is an extreme age gap with one partner barely over the age of consent. That's somewhat different to a 10 year gap between adults where neither partner is anywhere near the age of consent.

Sophie seemed most annoyed by the girl's voice.

I didn't get the impression either of them are 'jealous' of her. baffled by her, maybe. Fascinated probably too. But jealous? Don't see it.

I think the idea that they could only possibly take against her out of jealousy is a bit of a cop out. relying on this myth that most older women are jealous of young girls. I don't buy it.

I know jealousy is not always the case and I hardly ever use that as a reason why some women bitch about others, but in some cases it certainly comes across as the reason.

Sophie's remarks about how short the dress Courtney was wearing, Carol's sneering remarks about age gap's when she herself can't talk...it seemed very judgemental and catty.
