Aw... I know it's just a soap but to kill off lovely haley like that, and there's so much misery around, it bliddy depressing
Could they not just have her go look after a relative in Australia or summat!

It's a final end to Hayley's character though, the actress doesn't want to return, this is the only real ending they could have done for Roy and Hayley, splitting them up isn't an option, it just wouldn't be believable.
