Anyone tried this diet? I have a couple of times, it's hard but something I think you get used to when you have a few dishes down that fit in with the calorie restrictions.
Also called the fast diet it was made popular following a BBC documentary Horizon presented by Dr Micheal Mosely. The focus is on intermittent fasting, for 2 days a week (non consecutive) you restrict your calorie intake to 600 cals for men and 500 for women. Sounds easy... It isn't, but I'm having another go. Decided to leave it till Monday, (yes I'm putting it off) felt a bit poorly this week so going to wait till I'm ok.

the norm is 2,500 and 2000 respectively.

I did this last year and it works well - it's quite fun too trying to think up how to get the most on your 500 cal fasting days, you can come up with some very inventive dishes.

True and I haven't seen any reports of adverse effects after a day, longer would obviously. found some juice recipes that will be great for fast days, are you having a go kaz?

I was talking to a customer who has just lost 3 and a half stones on this diet.. He said he was exercising too though.
