The point - that their characters are based on real people. You've said that they are an exaggerated version of real people (hence the over the top violence etc.), as much as she would no doubt like to I don't think Charlotte would be capable of blowing a flame out of her ass as Rik has done on many occasion).

Whilst Rik and Ade were writers and performers, who put in lots of hours writing and rehearsing, to put on a show, I couldn't do that, and many people couldn't, but I and millions of people could go on the town and have a kebab.

They do so with each other's permission and are aware of it beforehand.

Rik Mayall and Ade Edmonson were funny and tongue in cheek but they weren't vulgar because it wasn't portrayed as sincere.

I agree with you. I was really interested that BB this year had none of toilet humour of previous shows and was therefore a lot more entertaining.
Charlotte did not need to demonstrate that she had something wrong with her intestines. Blasting out wind is actually not normal.

Ok read carefully...

You stated in your own words a couple of posts back their characters are based on real people, albeit exaggerated.

So, Charlotte is the kind of person they would take inspiration from.
