Honestly, I used to think people were exaggerating a bit about labour. I mean, obviously the pushing will hurt due to the physics of it all, but that tends to be over quite quickly.
Then I had a 36 hour labour, wanted to actually kill myself, and screamed at the midwife to give me any drugs available. The actual labour/contractions hurt 1000x more than anything I have ever felt before. Its safe to say there is no exaggeration of the pain
