I usually like just regular cod and chips, also I'd drink coke with it. Normally with meals I'd have water, but I think a soft drink tastes better when the inside of your mouth is coated with grease.

Fish and Chips is my least favourite meal, and I would never have a sausage from a chip shop

Chips and Coleslaw or Chips with Garlic Mayo maybe.
