It reminds me of taxi drivers in New York City not stopping to pick up black passengers, even black drivers are less likely to stop for black passengers. It's a hard thing to regulate.
If the landlord is racist, would you as a minority really want to live there anyway though? I was reading about a reception hall that is being sued for refusing to host a gay wedding reception, as a gay person i don't want to use a bigot's reception hall anyway. Why would i want to be giving my money to someone i know is a bigot?
