This is not an end to the shut down only a pause. Part two in January.
With 144 votes in the House of Representatives against a last minute deal we can only surmise that the Tea Party are still considering themselves in the ascendant. John Boehner will lose his seat now with a victorious Tea Party challenger in the primaries along with all those moderate republicans who voted it through. The Tea Party will be Avenged. Was it really worth this pain to hang on to the Affordable Health Care act?
