Default Shoplifting dilema

While out shopping in a large store you see someone stealing some good's!
what would you do?
turn a blind eye and continue shopping, report it to security, or confront the person?.

Getting your head kicked in for being a grass or being arrested on suspicion of being an accomplice. I would just leave the shop.

..I'd ignore it as well...maybe I would feel differently if it was a small/private owned shop and someone's livelihood but a large store would have alarm systems anyway...and it's not someone hurting someone, it's just material things...

Having watched "Shoplifting and proud" last night, I would report them.
Unless it was food etc from a supermarket.

.

Might have been "Pickpocket a d Proud".

I would think they were being followed on CCTV and just get on with my own shopping.

Mind my own business. Just like I'd expect people to do if it was me doing the shoplifting.

Depends, if I could report it without the shoplifter realising I'd done it than I would

A while back me and my brother were in Primark and he noticed a guy shove a £3 t shirt up his top, he went and told a security guy about it which I thought was a bit pointless over something so small but then the bloke kind of deserved it for stealing something so sh*t and cheap, was quite funny watching them follow him up the escalator and round the rest of the shop then corner him as he tried to leave

Again, if I saw that I'd be too busy laughing and taking the p*ss to even think of reporting them.

Ignore it, not my problem tbh.

I would be tempted to report if it was a small family run shop or something hough, where loss in profit would actually affect them

In all likelihood I would mind my own business, often as to supermarkets anyway, I wonder who is really robbing who,the customer shoplifting or the Store with it's massive increases on goods that have been on the shelves most of the week.

A packet of treats for my Dog which he likes, I bought yesterday, they were £1.15 at 8pm last night on a full row of them, this morning those same items were up to £1.65.
