My name, Thomas, is Greek for Twin, also a coincidence is that my star sign also means twin (and no, before you ask, I do not have a twin)
What does yours mean? Last edited by T*; 01-11-2013 at 11:15 PM. |

I know a lot of Turks & they tell me my name is pretty common where they're from, so maybe it means something Turkish too ;o |

My name is from an old Irish story, Niamh Cinn Oir (Nee-iv keane oar) means Niamh with the golden hair, she lives in a land called Tir Na Og which is a place where you never grow old ............... which I suppose is kind of ironic considering the running joke about me and my age here

Benjamin \b(e)-nja-min, ben-jamin\ as a boy's name is pronounced BEN-ja-men. It is of Hebrew origin, and the meaning of Benjamin is "son of the right hand; son of the south; son of my old age". Biblical: Benyamin was the 12th, youngest and most beloved son of the patriarch Jacob and Rachel, and was originally named Benoni. In the Middle Ages, it was often given to sons whose mothers had died in childbirth, though it has no such connotations today. Brought into use by the Puritans until the end of the 19th century. After several decades of disuse, came back to great popularity by the 1970s.
