I'd want a part time job, it's nice to have some structure.

If I was financially set for life, I would probably just invest it into something and be an owner/director of something I have an interest in and that could be my "work". No way would I be doing something tedious just for the sake of "doing something" though.

I haven't worked, although I've done plenty of jobs, for about 10 years. Coincidentally, I was watching a guy on Youtube, (a man in the pub said), who said 41% of the population of America of working age, weren't in work. They'd opted out, and because they weren't actively seeking work, or in receipt of social welfare, weren't counted. This kept the official unemployment rate at somewhere under 10%, and it applies to Ireland and the UK too.
So, almost half the working age population don't work.

Not a chance. I'd read and write and bake and travel and read and write some more.

Yes, I probably would. I will be doing something I really enjoy so it would remain an important part of my life.

Sounds like Beck/fox nonsense to me. I bet he was ultra right, and I bet it lead on to blaming Obama.
