What a terrible tragedy. Apparently the little girl should have been in school but was home as she was ill. The dog had apparently rehomed recently and the staff at the home said he was safe, but just the sheer size of him next to the little girl in that picture makes you wonder what they and her parents were thinking, the news report also said they were in a flat
is a flat really the sort of place you could have a dog of this size.
