I once took a girl to a gig (ON MY BIRTHDAY), paid for her, got her travel, only for once we got her for her to ditch me and go find her boyfriend that I didn't know existed, and leading up to it for weeks I thought we liked each other, I'm not sure if that's better or worse than your situation....don't worry about it
