These past two episodes have been awful, we didn't need two episodes to tell a story that could have been succinctly told in a flashback. The Governor is a dull one note character and having two (ultimately) filler episodes was a terrible decision.

Next week's episode looks like it could be good, hopefully it'll mark the end of the mire that this series has become lost in since the second half of Season 3.

Now that was a game of two halves. The first half was a repeat of last season and the last 2 episodes of this, and the last half should have been the finale to last season.

It also makes a complete mockery of bringing the governor back to begin with. We've had to painfully watch his semi-rehabilitation spread across a few episodes, only to then watch him turn into the governor again, and back in the exact position he's been in before - with a partner and a young child to protect.

It makes the last few episodes even more frustrating when you realise that the governor story for this season really wasn't ever going to go anywhere.

It's hard not to view this episode in the context of last season, as this is the finale we should have had, but it was a good bit of action at least.

Interesting hangovers till Feb.

- I don't think Judith is dead, she will be part of a splinter group somewhere.
- Tyrese will end up in a camp with Carol (made obvious by the fact they didn't get the chance to tell him about what she did).
- How quickly will the groups find each other again?
- How loyal will they be to the groups they are with at the time when it comes to making decisions about their futures?
- Rick expelling Carol was actually a plan to keep her in the show (by the writers), not send her out.

Well that definitely made up for the past 2 eps for me even though I did like them.Fantastic episode oh my.Poor Hershel The Governor is an evil bugger, thank god he is gone too. I liked those two girls Carol taught shooting to help Tyreese, the fact that Glen is safe. Maybe they all have a place to meet up if things go messed up?

I am really starting to think Lizzie's the psycho/zombie feeder. Like she's a mini Carol except a bit more psychotic and irresponsible

I hope you're right about Judith, because carrying a baby around is only going to slow the show down. Although a baby crying without fences and prison walls would attract walkers to them on a more regular basis. It could have also have moved into an interesting, yet dark storyline where someone felt she was endangering them, so wanted to kill her. Developing tension/standoff/someone killing her.

I thought feeding the zombies was happening before the Lizzie actually developed into mini-Carol? I'm not so sure with that part of your post, but unless we do find out exactly who/what/why, then that is a pretty pointless side story at all.

Does the feeding happen in the comics?

I'd say the development began when Carol told her she was weak when they had to kill her father and Lizzie refused to do it after she volunteered. Not to mention there was a scene in the first ep where she names one of the zombies. There's a storyline similar to this psycho that the show might be taking that takes place after the prison.

The feeding doesn't happen in the comics. The Shootout did. That's as far as I have gone in the comics

Judith dies in the comics so it's likely she's actually gone (Lori was shot and the bullet went through them both).

Hershal should have died earlier than he did in the TV show (comic book). I'm really happy the Governor is dead and I don't care if it makes a mockery of the past two eps showing him, it made me really happy to see Michonne stab him; it was almost too predictable but it don't care! Also I loved that the little girl shot that lesbian was probably my highlight. I hope the Govs new GF and her sister meet up and they get back with the group; they are decent characters.

I really think Beth and Daryl will just start to get it on now which is creeeeepy...
