I have no idea
my brother has this one in his bedroom it's flawless



ignore the tiny brown blobs on the left speaker it's a tea stain from like 10 years ago

I used to just have a mini one like the pic below but I gave it to my brother when I moved, don't really know anything about hifi's tbh.

..does it have to be a hi-fi, Jake..?..you could have a sound system on your TV and play cds/music on that...?....

Well, a sound system which I can plug my phone/ipod into and play music, not a dock though
