I didnt like/dislike Dexter really so I would rather he went, his arguments with Callum and romance with Charlie annoyed me I really didnt get the 'dexterhype' so I wouldnt have cared if he went as apposed to Jemima. And I also think Dan was getting in where it didnt concern him, she didnt say her daughter died and eventhough that may have been assumed he assumed it no mother in their right mind would try to make people assume their daughter had died. Also Gina was obvious gagging for fight so she could have gone also for all I cared, pathetic arguments with Sallie, Jemima and Hazel. Not saying I didn't like Gina though cos I did but only in places she was boring for days at a time.
