Great episode and I definitely agree that the show is rapidly picking up its pace, something that hasn't happened in years. Also liking all the Carter clan and it'll be interesting to see this Johnny story unfold. Linda's clearly not taking it well at all.

To be fair, I'm sure many genuinely thought he acted it well. I've never had anything like that and still thought the acting was reasonably on point. Not award-winning obviously but the only particularly 'off' thing was the OTT crying bit.

I'm really enjoying the show at the moment, it has improved in such a short time now DTC is back in charge and because of a few changes behind the scenes.

The Carters have made a good impression on me already, think they are a breath of fresh air and that the show needed some new blood.

I like judging from the interview with the Producer that he has lots of plans lined up for different characters, so there is lots of more exciting stuff to come.

I hope that Ronnie gets away with killing Carl too, but I cannot wait for my favourite ever character Stacey Slater to return and because Lacey Turner is an amazing Actress.

OMG Jane's return. Well done EastEnders keeping that quiet, it seems she is back for a while again as she is listed in the characters bit on the EE website.

I really liked her, relatable character and she's obviously going to be involved in that big Beale storyline they have planned. Laurie Brett is a fab Actress.

Fed up of Danny Dyer though. I'm getting used to him but I wish he'd relax a bit instead of staring out into the distance trying to be all serious. He just looks daft.

And yeah, agreed about Dyer. I like the actor but every morning when Linda's going off on one (who I also enjoy), it gets tedious and repetitive seeing him be sympathetic and 'comforting'.

she is but she filmed her final scenes a few weeks, i think eastenders might be a few episodes and then she leaves again before coming back later in the year

Waterloo Road takes breaks between filming. I do think she's back for good though.

I think that Tanya or Zainab will return next if they're planning on bringing some former characters back, personally I would prefer Zainab.

i'm happy it's finally being bought back into the 21st century. EE in 2012 was s*** imo and it lacked behind the other main soaps (Emmerdale & Coronation Street) in terms of entertaining storylines and acting. I did suspect Jane's comeback, i mean who else would peter call? lol
