Bigotry is bigotry, why are some people hell-bent on making it a competition. "No, this minority had it worse! NOO, THIS ONE DID!" All forms of discrimination are as bad as each other, people who try to make out that homophobia is somehow not as bad as racism are clearly uneducated on the effects it's had on some people.

Actually, how does your post at all relate to what I said? Unless you're jumping on the fact that I said gay people don't have a "look", and then decided to talk about how racism is worse because people are discriminated against for what they look like? I'm not sure how that makes homophobia somehow less of a problem, both are people being treated differently because of who they are. There was a time when simply being gay could land you in prison, but you're right, that wasn't a big deal.

As for the "look" thing, my point was that some ignorant people still DO think that gay men look and act a certain way.

Also, why is it always suggested that the only people pissed off by supposed-homophobia are "the gays"? "The gays" aren't the only ones who object to homophobic slurs, you know?
