Jim didn't want to chat to her and Jasmine knew it.

..the sleep thing is always going to be a thing and especially more so with such mixed ages and younger people generally don't want to sleep until much later than older ones but I have to say that Jim did handle it well in that he didn't rant etc but just walked away..that isn't being miserable or complaining..(because you know it's going to happen when you agree to go in..)..it's just getting away from a situation that's irritating...I'm not convinced that she did purposefully go out to wind him up though, I think she was just highly insensitive as the point of someone wanting to be alone is that they don't want you there and she was one of the main people he was trying to get away from and she didn't grasp that at all...but for me, there are a lot of 'self' celebrities in there this time who just don't think beyond themselves or are considerate to anyone else's needs...I guess that makes for more entertaining viewing though...

She is, because when she went out she was all sort of nicey nicey but she did clearly know he had gone out to get away from her and Luisa and their stupid giggling.

Then outside, the minute he got up again and walked away from her, she immediately made a put down comment as to him.
So really she was more likely looking for confrontation than anything else, Jim didn't take the bait, as he hasn't with Linda yet too and good on him for that again I say.

it was hilarious I was willing her to keep going. if jim was 'joking' when he told her to **** off the other day, I fail to see why she shouldn't be allowed to give him something back. it's all very one-sided where jim is concerned though, as if the world should revolve around him.

It is funny how so many people here have "respect" for the older men in the house, just because BBC and British media tells you they are "legends"? I wonder how many British people on this site have actually seen their TV work. You just accept the fact that they are "legends" without having ever watched their work.

Are they actually as talented as you are told they are? I've tried to look up some of them on youtube, and i couldn't find anything that was impressive or funny. I'm not impressed by Lionel or Jim.

slightly off topic but I think the best housemates aren't the a listers anyway. evander was supposedly the biggest celebrity in the house (I'd never heard of him, jim or lionel before cbb) and they've all been some of the most boring housemates this series. luisa, jasmine and lee have been carrying it really.

Right. I totally agree; Jasmine was winding Jim up. Jim's done the same as well. I personally would love to see them keep trying to wind each other up.

In their day, both Lionel and Jim were HUGE on TV. I agree they shouldn't be respected just because of their age.

Dappy? really? he's nothing., he just kept screaming women are *****s, for 6 hours straight. notice how Lou kept trying to have a conversations with him, and all he could say over and over again was that women are *****s!!! women are not right, don't you understand women are *****s?? why don';t you understand that. he had no argument.

She tried to have a real conversation with him, and all he could say is, women are *****s and if you don't understand that then you must be a *****, how many men have you had sex with? see you must be a *****, i'm not wrong, you are a *****.

He's such a pathetic little faker. trying to imitate american black artists, when he has absolutely NO connection to them. It's so pathetic. N*dubs never had ANY hits in the US, there's a reason for that, they are a JOKE.

It still baffles me that the chick on X-factor and Dappy are taken so seriously in the UK, but they would never be taken seriously any where else. N-Dubs is not a serious band anywhere but the UK. The first time i ever heard of them is because they were on Big Brother's Big Mouth on BB9. And they looked like a joke then.

Very good point,I had'nt thought of that but it definately makes sense.Jim did well to not get roped into a barney with Jasmine.

Jazmine sees Jim as a threat to the crown after seeing his vote results, so she is taking a leaf out of Lindas book and is trying to make him flip. He is doing well to bite his tongue and everytime he does, his stalkers get really pissed off because walking away makes them look silly. Good old Jim......My bet at big odds is looking pretty good, Jim is now down to 4/1 from well over 20/1 outsider

Yes indeed. People are all up in arms because big bad bully Jasmine was winding up poor wee mousey Jim Davidson.
And isn't he wonderful for not rising to it but instead continuing to keep up his fake persona by 'not being himself' (his own words) so he doesn't get 'kicked' out.
And all this adulation and excuses for a grumpy old git and chauvinist pig among other things. You couldn't make it up.

I honestly don't think jasmine thinks she can win. She is totally entertaining though and Jim is an out and out whingey old man. Nobody was more surprised than Jas when she was saved 2nd last week. She even said she was sure she would be gone even though she had said jokingly during the week she was sure she would stay. If you look at her face when she was saved it wasn't an act it was genuine surprise. It will be interesting to see what happens Wednesday night

Jasmine doesn't give a **** about winning. She's never seen the regular BB series, and she's already got paid, so why would she care? She;'s going home as soon as she does her obligatory BOTS appearance. How many Americans from CBB over the years stayed in the UK after the show? NONE.

Brits really don't understand Americans on this show.

It's funny because it's usually Brits saying Americans don't understand the show, but it's equally true that Brits don't understand Americans on the show. you guys really don't understand how IRRELEVENT this show is to them. how many Americans from past CBB shows do you see still in the UK tryna make a career? they take the money and run!

I disagree that that was her motivation, they clearly don't get on, they haven't gotten since before those results were announced (and were those results actually read out in order, i could have sworn Emma said in no particular order). Anyway, to me it looked like she wanted to annoy him because she doesn't like him and knew that he was getting pissed off with her and Luisa being drunk and noisy and so she wanted to poke him a bit more

Both Lionel & Jim have careers going back decades in the UK & have both been on prime time Saturday night TV for many years, they are very well known in the UK. Lionel started out as an entertainer, then later in his career appeared as a regular panel member on a popular quiz show. Ditto for Jim, who had a successful career as a comedian, then went on to present popular game shows...

Compared to who else is in the house, they ARE legends & the most famous ones in there.

Actually plenty of Americans have been on as they are desperate for a career in the UK, or at least to aid their failing careers in America!

And equally most UK celebrities couldn't care less about winning, they are also just doing it for the money dear... Big Brother really isn't that big a deal in the UK anymore...

It actually is a very big deal in the UK, I've seen 2 articles in the Guardian about it (i read the Guardian every day), and it was on Charlie Brooker's Wipe show last week, so don't pretend CBB doesn't get plenty of attention in the mainstream press in the UK. It does, don't lie.

I guess the older male housemates generally get more respect because in comparison to the others they've achieved more impressive things - Evander, Jim and Lionel all have great achievements to their names and are well known. Liz is a columnist and Linda was a background singer in a group that has one memorable hit; and the younger housemates either haven't achieved anything because they're famous for being famous or they're musicians who are past their peak, so haven't been around long enough or had the longevity to command the same level of respect...
