Mine are picked up on Thursday but my bin men actually come in and get them for me rather than me putting them out because I give them a decent tip at Christmas :P

Our bins get collected on a Friday, our council is quite strict and would fine somebody if they left their bins out at night.

Uhh idgi? We use metal can bins with plastic carrier bags and each time they're full put the bags in a corner in the balcony and the next person who's going out takes it and puts it in the chute outside. The council then empty the chute every Tuesday around 11am
