Jim is famous from Saturday night TV which is prime-time TV. Like Xfactor, and Britains got Tallent. People watch TV at those times. The Generation Game was at that time. Although he was rubbish at the Generation Game he made it about himself, and not the contestants. Bruce Forsyth did it much better.

Actually for less blinkered people he is now more well known for his charity work & for setting up the British Forces Foundation of which he is the chairman. He was even awarded an OBE for his services to charity...

When the media reports on Jim it's almost always negative and as you know the media is a massive influence on people and forms alot of their opinions.

Jim repeating history, laying the blame on Linda this time not his ex wife .........


His ex-wife Alison Holloway alleged that during their marriage Jim beat her regularly, kicked her down the stairs and once smashed a barbell into her ribs. He blamed her for their marriage breakdown.
