Default Fair point, well made.

Good on Jim for finally revealing the truth during nominations, Linda's always harping on about how nasty he is for bringing her husband 'into it' when she herself was the one that actually done that on launch night on the screen.

Well done Jim.

100% agree, I think that was one the best and fairest reasoned nominations I have seen on any BB really.
All truth.

Didn't she just mention it as the root of their feud?

I thought it wasn't about mentioning her husband, but using it as fuel to add to the fire of their argument?

He was great with his nominations tonight spot on with both of them and I was very happy when he mentioned about Linda's hubby.

Of course, it was totally obvious that he intended her to be drawn out into reveling the specifics of what happened in the dressing room.

Great show for Jim tonight! I cheered when he was nominating. Linda was exposed for the liar that she is.

The public knows this anyway. That's why Jim keeps topping the vote. But it was nice that he had a chance to set the record straight.

No one knows the finer details behind the argument Jim and her husband had back in the day. If Jim was in the wrong back then, then all these petty reasonings behind Linda's bitterness in the house pale in comparison. If Jim was in the wrong, and drastically in the wrong, then who can blame Linda for her behaviour in the house. I'm sure every single person on this board would share the same sort of resentment Linda has for Jim if Jim was really in the wrong back then.

Fact of the matter is, no one knows what happened back then so it's pretty ridiculous to take sides.

Fact is it wasn't a 'fair point' neither was it 'well made' IMO.

Objectively speaking I would definitely agree that it was a fair point Josy, and certainly a very well made one at that

Agreed.

She keeps flashing selected pieces of the puzzle.

Good on Jim for showing the bigger picture.

The way it's dragged on in the house I find it hard to care about Jim and Linda's spats. Linda clearly is the one that won't let it rest though. You can tell the other HM's are bored ****less with it too

Yeah, surely everyone can see the difference between the two mentions?

One was a reference, the other was to spark a row.

..I think that the thing with Jim and Linda is that they both do probably hate each other and what Linda 'displays' is probably not that much different to what Jim feels...I personally don't think either of them are very nice people as such and the 'rights and wrongs' in most of this series are all very debateable, which is what we've been doing lol...but just taking their behaviour and character in the house and nothing more, for me it's been how each of them have coped and responded to the dislike of the other one...

..I have no doubts in my mind that Jim's remarks which are very passive aggressive have provoked reactions in Linda and those reactions have been extreme and quite hateful...whereas, there is nothing passive about Linda at all, she has been openly hostile with her feelings and although the Frank Carson thing was wrong and extremely wrong, other than that and on the whole, Jim has responded and reacted very well to Linda's hostility...so when it comes to those two and who is right and who is wrong in all of these arguments, all I can say is that they have both 'fought their personal battle' in their own ways, but for me, Jim's way has been much less spiteful and bitter....and more admirable tbh...with Linda, there is virtually nothing that I can admire at all, other than she's probably not had an easy life, but the same can be said of many people but she's coped with it all really badly in the person it has made her....

You really cant knock Jim for his reaction to the situation.
Troutface manhater showed her sad bitterness before the series even started i pity her really its sad how some people try to project their own unhappiness onto other people.

The victim card is so desperate it amazes me how anyone could defend the sad bitch.

To me it seems like Linda has instigated this Jim feud from the start of this CBB. I must make it clear I am not a Jim fan but in this BB he is a massive part of it, way more than Linda and she and the others know that.

Going back to the Launch night, Linda was chained to Jim, now she had the chance to be unchained from him if she detested him that much, but no, Linda taking the lead over Jim and decides to unchain Dappy and Liz because 'she' thought they looked strained together even though both were ok to be chained together, Liz even in her interview said she was ok with Dappy, so it begs the question as to why did Linda not unchain herself and Jim when she had the choice? Probably because appealing to the viewing public meant more to her, so she must have had a game plan in mind from the offset to belittle Jim and try to get the viewing public and the housemates on her side to oust Jim from the house. Now nothing wrong with a game plan, but a down and dirty one like that is a bit low, as we are supposed to be judging housemates from their entertainment value in that house, not past misdemeanors of which some might feel bad enough about already. In fact Linda didn't even have to sign up to the show if she detests Jim so much, because no-one but no-one can tell me the Celebs, and I use the word Celeb lightly for some in that house, did not know who else was going in.

I think Linda knew and hoped if she pushed enough that Jim might bring that day in question up and then played on it. She has tried to push Jim's buttons and ruin his CBB experience and it isn't working for the most part.

Agree Josy...it was the highlight of the show for me. Never mind all that 'Ollie's bid for attention rubbish!
