When do you have to decide by? You should probably try and spend a bit of time in the town but don't get too hung up on what people say, most big cities have high crime rates

Well, to me it sounds like you really want to go there, i would just go with your gut feeling on it and just be careful when you're there, you'd have to be careful in any city though imo
