Depends if your friend is in the same job as you. If not I would be happy for them, but experience has taught me that if you do the same job then you will be insanely jealous and will end up walking out of your job over it eventually when your friend turns into a bossy twat with a huge attitude problem.

Mind I was about 17 at the time. I like to think I would be more mature about it now

I was so pissed off I dont think I ever got over it tbh. I had been in the job longer, was better at it too, but she was promoted to MY supervisor because she arselicked the managers. Which is something I wont do.

Haha yeah, but I had never even spoke to admin. Infact I'm quite sure that the only reason I was picked was because I was online all night everynight (and they needed someone to monitor nights) and got about 10k posts in a month
