I think the Spice Girls are overrated to ****. Yes they pioneered a wave of girl bands and had some great tunes, there's no taking that away from them, but in my opinion there have been better acts who have come after them but it's apparently a crime against all things British to say anything other than the sun shines out their arses. Mel C's a great singer, Emma Bunton can hold a tune, the other three are ****e attention seekers.

They put out 12 singles and 3 albums over 4 years, it's not like they were around for a particularly long time. The bloody Saturdays have lasted longer than them and had more hits! Spice Up Your Life is better than anything else by the Spice Girls but I'd say Girls Aloud and Sugababes each have at least half a dozen songs that **** all over the Spice Girls' discography
