I agree with both Matt and Vicky and don't care about the post count from our chat thread and would happily turn it off...however post count can't be turned off just for one thread, it can only be done by section and when we post in other parts of the admin section we are contributing to the forum, we are discussing members bans, infractions, final warnings and so on.

When we post in Chat and Games we're contributing to the forum by actually chatting and talking during off season. Without Chat & Games, this forum would literally be dead for like 6 months.

Not really...lots of us watch TV shows and post in that section, the sports section is always active as well as the other reality tv shows that are on throughout the year.

For the record I wouldnt care at all if post counts were disabled in the mod chat thread/infractions section or whatever. I think the only reason some people are taking this so seriously is because its another reason to moan.

I'd have thought the mod chat thread/chat and games 'hypocrisy' 'issue' was pretty obviously down to a logistical coding issue of trying to format one thread in one (hidden) subforum to have the same (no post count) rules as a whole other subforum...

I don't really get why this is an issue and I feel like I've lost brain cells just posting this.
