..yes I did know it had been discussed before Arista, I think I might have even made the thread myself..but as we have lots of new members, I think they deserve a new thread, rather than resurrect the old one...

Still don't see why you care so much... it's the internet. And if the moderators think it'd be better off merged with another thread then fair enough but none of that's happened yet. It's not your job to tell people how and where to post.

Besides, Ammi had another point so why not make a fresh thread looking at it from a different angle instead of resurrecting a year-old one?

Getting back to the thread... I absolutely sympathise with those finding life so difficult but the act for what it's worth considering the implications it has on loved ones and alternatives is the selfish way out, IMO. That's not to say that the people themselves are selfish in any way as their judgement is clearly distorted by an illness, mental or physical.

..Arista, I didn't want to bump an old thread and don't generally like old threads being bumped as often, members who don't post anymore for whatever reason have posted in them..so I prefer to make a new thread as the last one was quite some time ago and unless it's a news story, the chances are that a topic in most parts of the forum will have been discussed before and threads duplicated etc and there are many 'duplicate' threads on same topics, so it really isn't that important..enough now...
