I started in graphic design and got the opportunity to work in New York,I lived there as a nanny for a year,came home got into holiday repping,where I worked mainly in Turkey and Greece,I met my husband while doing this ,we started a family,when I stopped working for a while although I was always doing the graphic design in one way or another,I now have a part time job as a teaching assistant in a school for special needs children,as my family get older I will move back into full time work,I would like to be a midwife so am looking into that but it maybe too emotional for me.

..midwifery would be a lovely vocation but you wouldn't think about doing graphic design full time again..?..your art is something I think you should think of pursuing as well...

I've got 2 jobs. I work 2 days a week as an LSA (Learning Support Assistant) in a school for children with special needs, and I work from home 3 days a week for a publishing house. I love the diversity and flexibility of my jobs, have worked at home since my boys were little for a Publishing House. When my boys got bigger to earn a bit more money and because like Josy I wanted to work with other people as well as working from home, I managed to get a job in the school as a midday assistant, did my NVQ3 qualification alongside and when a job came up for 2 days a week I applied and got it. Love the diversity of my work.

I'm a lawyer by profession. Not a lawyer like Nathan... a proper lawyer. I've done a variety of things since I left uni mostly related to the law and this year I started a job working for the government. I totally love it. I was first approached to do it while I was at uni and turned them down. I'm kind of glad I did because the stuff I've learned in the meantime has been useful.

I am blessed in that my job involves coordinating a team of 100 or so CCTV camera fitters, telling them where they are going, what they are doing there and how long to do it for. It's the dream and I'm living it.

Im a barman, i enjoy it but the pay is shocking, about $1 below minimum wage, works out as about 9 pound per hour.

Yes,I would certainly consider it ,if the right job came along,I am never happier than when I have a pencil in my hand,I have always loved art,but also like working with children and have looked into midwifery,but not sure I would be stong enough,I still do my art ammi,but obviously it's more for fun now.

Currently finishing off my degree and unemployed but as of July I'll be working full time (though only temporarily) at a shipping agency and then ideally will be moving into working in the oil and gas industry.

i'm a student but i am currently not at university. i've finished first year and don't start second until september.

i work for a housing association and have done since december. i work in customer service, at the moment i'm repairs-only so when someone calls with a blocked toilet or no heating or no electricity etc. i organise for someone to attend. it's well-paid, especially for a first job and i really like it. i used to work weekends but now from this week work monday-wednesday.
