you say 'let them get on with it' but then what's the format? Which housemates vote? How many people do they vote for? Are there separate noms and an eviction vote or just an eviction vote? Are there immunity competitions? Who decides the winner?

The US already have a non-public involvement format in place we could adopt, all I suggested was simplifying it even more by just having every housemate vote and the person with the most votes each week leaves
