I think who ever you voted your top 3 last year you can't vote for them the next year even if they did a good performance

I think there shouldn't be such thing as a Big 5 or auto-qualifiers. It stops the Big 5 from getting their song heard in the semi-finals and giving it chance to get recognised and for the audience to warm to it.

Thats all voluntary on our part though, we're not forced to contribute more money and therefore get our big 5 status

Its sorta strange really that we fund more of it than everyone else yet are one of the countries that takes it least seriously

Yeah this. I always think the Big 5 have a disadvantage because of it.

There's 5 countries that get to skip the semi finals and go straight to the final because they contribute more money to the comp than the others

We're one of them, with France and Italy, maybe Spain as well though not sure on the other two
