With Toya that's her problem - she's all about the 'telling' and none about the 'listening' !

Which is why she is unable to have a two way discussion about any problem, without jumping to conclusions, missing the wider picture and simply talking AT people, not WITH them.

She 'tells it' - but not how 'it is' - just tells what 'she thinks'. Which is usually whatever knee jerk reaction/judgement she's made that puts her in 'the right' and whoever else in 'the wrong'.

Yes... you're quite right. What I've also noticed about her is that when someone else is speaking, she not listening - like you say - she's waiting for them to finish so she can talk again. Sometimes she doesn't even wait till they're finished. And then, incredibly, she says to people "You're not listening". I'd like to shake her, then slap her, then shake her again.
