But he doesn't really want them. It's his way of trying to convince the others he has loads of money and can lose a £100 grand and not feel it.
The guy has delusions of grandeur.
If he did get that money - which is highly unlikely - he wouldn't spend it on fireworks.
What he would do though is use it to underpin this fantasy that he is rich. So he'd buy more designer suits, maybe a Rolex, gold cuff links, a pair of £20 grand shoes. Stuff like that.
No way would he really spend it on fireworks.
Dexter is the same. He's another fantasist. It's a shame people buy into their fantasies.
