She -obviously- sees something in him that makes her want to be with him otherwise she -wouldn't be with him-; his looks don't seem to be an issue for her which is why she's making light of it; she doesn't seem that interested in looks in partners, again, because if she was, she'd be with someone like Ash or Winston.
