Furthermore, if power comes at a price, why should Helen get off scot free with no price to pay? She has had the ultimate power - the fact that no matter what she did or said no one could nominate her.

Of course but that is the result of BB giving a free pass in the first place,it gave one housemate a lot of power until the final.
I think it was wrong but they did it so are now and should be stuck with it.
However BB gave Pauline the power after she was selected to be the power housemate by the public,
They asked her to make 4 main decisions.
A killer nom, a reward for a housemate, a punishment for a housemate and a free pass for one for the final.

I don't in any way believe that Pauline was told to pick Helen, I do believe at that time Pauline wanted to give Helen that pass by her own decision as she did with Mark with the £5,000,the punishing of Matthew and the killer nom for Jale.
So those power trip decisions stayed in place and were carried out in full from the start of the series.

The only variation from it, was the all guys up for eviction week,with the females given the power,then for that one week only Jale was relieved of the killer nom.
Now, had BB the next week done an all female housemates up for eviction with the guys having the power, then quite legitimately they could have for that one week removed Helen's immunity for that one week only as with Jale.

That is unlikely to take place now as there are so few females left in there now but they could have done it the week straight after but they haven't.

None of that is Helen's or anyone elses fault at all however, it is BB themselves and I do think even they know that if they were to now pathetically to remove that free pass forcibly,that they will be removing all doubt that this is a mockery of a series by them and the power trip theme was a stupid idea in the first place.

I say again, I dislike Steven with a passion and also would love Ashleigh out but had either of those 2 housemates been given the free pass from Pauline, I would be still stating strongly that the free pass should stay in place if they had it too.
