Big Brother and Big Brother's Bit On The Side achieved ranks in 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 11th and 12th.
CSI hit near 2 million, however this is justified for it's high rating, as it has been, and continues to be Channel 5's most watched show.. regardless of whether Big Brother has aired before or after it, or at any time.
Benefits Britain has also been a success story with Channel 5. Understandable as it follows the same storyline in essence to that of Channel 4's Benefits Street, which easily racked up 5 million viewers each broadcast.
Therefore Big Brother retaining 3rd spot and lower, is commendable.
Autopsy and The Dog Rescuers is clearly popular. And just because the figures sometimes beat BB to a spot, is not to say BB is under performing. This of course depends on shares! Nonetheless.. despite a suggested 'unpopular' series, it's holding up well.
Channel 4 did pip Channel 5 ratings wise.. but still.. BB is often able to beat Channel 4 programming once aired.. so again, the brotherly competition and rivalry continues. Note the picture below, Channel 4 was only marginally better in shares than Channel 5 for the week.
The image below is also worth mentioning. Once again.. this year we have seen a dramatic decrease in viewing live.. which could suggest the reasons for Friday, Saturday and Sunday overnight ratings performing underpar from what we consider good.
Once again, if you guys liked this please comment, and I'll continue to update you all on ratings after each week! If you want to find anything out rating wise, just ask, I'm sure I, or someone else could find the answer!!
