So you want to ignore the fact Pav made huge efforts with Chris and Ashleigh and even made sure the newbies didn't target them to vote out. There isn't much he can do when he's told by Chris that they won't ever be friends and is also implied to be some sort of Perv around Ashleigh. Chris wasn't right about anything and his actions cost him an easy possible win. It's not difficult to see why Pav has decided to spend his final week where he won't be accused of being a Pervert towards Helen and where Ash hasn't told him he doesn't have the time to be friends with him..
