I think her popularity is more a product of a way to get at Helen more than a reflection of her character because she really isn't a nice person thats for sure.

But yes she will be gone and forgotten in a few days whatever happens which i just find hilarious.

..I will say though that her popularity for me and I suspect many others is by no way as merely a negative popularity against Helen...the two are often mentioned together because there have been so many negative interactions between them during the series....

No it was a generalization i admit but her coldness just makes her seem so uncaring to me.
She is shrewd and seems like the type of person that would throw her best friend under a bus if she thought she could make money out of it.

..yeah I respect your opinion and I know it's shared by many so must be well founded as well and GG's is a good post because it does separate those negatives which are there as well and I do see why people would dislike her..I can also see why 'negative' support of a housemate is annoying as well, just because people don't want someone to win they like less...tbh, this hasn't been the best pick of housemates in general by far...

I'm sorry, thats not really a point is it?

How can Ashleigh be "blamed" for people voting for her? BB has been going for 15 years, and its not the only show of its type. The voting process is why we watch it.

And saying she won't care is comple personal bias and contrary to all evidence. All HMs have shown to be effected by the crowd. They all listen to the audience on Fridays, they all are taking the little bits of information fed them, like twitter comments, to heart.
